Ryedale Rumble flyers

We’re really chuffed with our A5 flyers that have just arrived from the printers.

Our logo seems to work well on everything!

The team will be busy getting these out and about North Yorkshire’s cycling establishments very soon.

Tour de Yorkshire 2018 skirts the North York Moors

While the Ryedale Rumble get’s in there and mixes it with the toughest climbs the North York Moors can throw at a cyclist, Stage 3 of this year’s Tour de Yorkshire is a sprint stage and circuits the southern edge.

Stage 3 Tour de Yorkshire 2018

Stage three at 184km won’t be as straightforward as the race’s first day. Two lumps are situated in the first and latter part of the stage and they aren’t easy.

Côte de Sutton Bank is the first to come up and houses a 12% gradient over 1.4km, waking up any legs that day that may still be asleep. Then 51.5km from the end, riders are faced with the Côte de Silpho, which while not as a instense as the first climb of the day will definitely hurt being 1.5km at 8.2% in the last part of the stage.

Let’s compare the hills on both rides:

Hills on Toiur de Yorkshire and the Ryedale Rumble

There’s great TDY viewing all along the A170 with lively crowds in Helmsley, Kirkbymoorside and Pickering. The following day the people of Kirkbymoorside will be out in force again encouraging runners in their annual Kirkby 10K fun run, before that will be the tractor rally.

That leaves Bank Holiday Monday for all you riders to get out there on the hills getting ready for the Ryedale Rumble – July 29th – got your entry in yet?
